Basic Manners I & II Classes for puppies & adult dogs

Basic Manners I/STAR Puppy/Novice Trick Dog: $120/4 lessons starting:

  • 11:30 am Saturday
  • 10:30 am Sunday
  • Special Note:  If your pup is under a year old, and you'd like to earn the S.T.A.R. Puppy title and ribbon, AKC requires 6 classes total. If you'd like the title and ribbon, for an additional $60, you may choose to attend two more lessons on the alternate day of the weekend.

Basic Manner II/CGC/ Agility Flatwork Foundations:$120/ 4 lessons

Intro to Scent Work with Joni Puckett 11:45 am

S.T.A.R. Puppy will work with the basic manners classes to get their certificates!

Introduce your dog or older puppy to the agility equipment using positive, motivational methods! We focus on safety and enjoyment, allowing each dog to move at his own pace, gaining confidence as he progresses.  All Levels of Agility are offered including sequencing and Masters & Premier Course work! Ongoing monthly classes:Competition students on Monday 6 & 7 pm & Tuesday noon at 1 pm can pay monthly. Payment for the month is due on the 1st night/day of class for that month.
Don’t forget ADOC has a Novice at 12 noon & Open obedience class at 1pm on Tuesdays.The Open class is for individuals whose dogs have their CD. Contact Cindy Franks for info.

What is Rally? In Rally, a dog and their handler move together through a course made up of 12-20 signs.  Each sign displays a skill to perform such as turns or behaviors like sit, down, or stay. The dog and handler work together and should show a sense of teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the course!  All levels of Rally are offered.   Read more.

AKC Fast CAT Events

What is Fast CAT? FAST CAT® – which stands for Coursing Ability Test – is a timed 100-yard dash where dogs run one at a time, chasing a lure. It’s over before you know it — and it’s nothing short of awe-inspiring to watch your dog run at top speed, ears back, eyes focused, legs strong!  Check out the awesome videos on our Facebook page!
